From the first daffodil poking its nose through the soil under the trees
in spring to the last aster seed landing on the snow in the prairie in
winter, our community has and continues to grow in our understanding of
the natural world.
Take time to sit on our benches or at our picnic tables, find a restful
moment just watching. Scan your eyes, notice the peaceful serenity offered
here. Be enlightened by the diversity of the natural world.
A garden, according to our Junior Webster Dictionary, is defined as a
piece of ground used for growing vegetables, flowers or fruits. We have
just that plus much, much, more. Come along!
Welcome to the Gardens at
Hansen
Elementary School, 616 Holmes Dr. on the west edge of Cedar Falls,
Iowa. As you walk in our midst the Hansen community invites you to
celebrate our midwestern heritage and the interdependence of living
things.
