Volunteering with Cedar Falls Schools
Volunteers provide critical support to the educational process in the Cedar Falls School District. If you are interested in serving on a district-wide committee, please click below. If you are interested in volunteering in one of our nine attendance centers please contact that school directly to find out about specific volunteer opportunities.
New Student Registration Information
Students new to the District or moving into the Cedar Falls School District should contact the district administrative center as soon as possible so that records may be obtained from the previous school of attendance. You will need to make an appointment at the Administration Center to register your child(ren), who are new to the District, for school. You will also be asked to provide two proofs of residency at the time of registration. Please call 553.2644 for additional information. To make this process faster, you may download the following forms and have them filled out ahead of time. Thank you!
The Cedar Falls Board of Education is conducting Board Work Sessions to study and develop a Plan of Action in regard to either a renovation of our current high school building or the construction of a new Cedar Falls High School. Click here for further information.
The Board wishes to keep the public informed of the process and encourage all to provide feedback and to take part in the process. This is an outline of the tentative process; however, it is understood that questions need to be answered before proceeding to the next stage. Deciding the path of our high school facility is vital to the District and the quality of education our students receive. Please click here to review the matrix and outline.
